Reception Staff

Name: Mrs Walker
Job Role: Early Years Lead and teacher in Rabbits class.
Interests: At school my favourite thing to teach is phonics. I also really like building in the construction area and reading stories. At home I like yoga, making things and reading. I have two cats called Eddie and Roland who like to get in all kinds of mischief! 
How I will help you in school: I like helping every family at Woodlands Primary School. I make sure that all children have a great time in school, whilst learning new things and making new friends. You will see me in Ladybirds, Hedgehogs, Foxes AND Rabbits helping teachers as well as children. 
If I were a superhero my special power would be: The ability to split myself into multiple Mrs Walkers so that I could spend every day in all of the classes to see every child every day!

Name: Miss Millership
Job Role: Teacher in Rabbits
Interests: At school I love all things writing or mark making and being outside using our huge sand pit. I also love a sensory tuff tray! When I'm not at school I love going on a nice walk with a good view and a cafe.
How I will help you in school: I will always listen and be a calm, caring teacher. 
If I were a superhero my special power would be: To be able to blow away the grey clouds and let the sun shine down.

Name: Miss Simpson
Job Role: Teacher in Foxes
Interests: At school I love counting, dancing and singing and spending time reading stories. At home I love to sing and make crafts and spend time watching films with my friends.
How I will help you in school: At school I will make sure I am here to support you providing a safe space. The classroom will be a calm environment with lots of opportunities to help you grow and I will help you achieve your best. I will make sure we have lots of fun in our class too.
If I were a superhero my special power would be: Invisibility so I could be a fly on the wall and watch all the exciting moments with your friends.

Name: Mrs Holliday
Job Role: Teaching Assistant in Rabbits
Interests: Dancing, singing, gardening, painting and when the weather is nice, going camping with my family and friends.
How I will help you in school: I will help build up your confidence  and encourage you as you grow and learn every day.
If I were a superhero my special power would be: To be a wizard, like Harry Potter. Then I can do magic for lots of different things. 

Name: Mrs Clewes
Job Role: SEN Curriculum Specialist (Supporting Reception Mon-Wed)
Interests: At school I love messy play and creative activities. I also really enjoy doing small group work like lycra and singing. I'm also  good at making play dough, especially when I have a group of helpers and some glitter!
At home I really enjoying being outside exploring nature, walking in the woods and going on adventures with my little boys. 
How I will help you in school:  I do lots of work with children who need a little bit more support to be successful and I support lots of families too. Most of all, my aim is to make sure everyone is happy and having fun while they learn. 
If I were a superhero my special power would be: To be able to fly with a super sparkling cape! Then I could visit lots of interesting people and places.

Name: Mrs Eyre
Job Role: Teaching Assistant (Thurs and Fri)
Interests: I love spending time with my family, playing games with my boys and walks/adventures in the woods!
How I will help you in school: I support the class teacher with your learning. I’m very enthusiastic about playing/taking part in activities with the children and fully believe in a child led approach! I am a mummy of two boys and I treat all of the children as I’d want my own to be looked after. I am calm, fun, nurturing and always there to give cuddles if needed.
If I were a superhero my special power would be: To be able to change the weather whenever I liked as I love snow but only when it’s fresh and fluffy! I don’t like the cold and rain but love the summer!
