Please see updated contingency planning for September 2021 onwards.

The main symptoms of coronavirus are:

  • A high temperature – this means you feel hot to touch on your chest or back (you do not need to measure your temperature);
  • A new, continuous cough – this means coughing a lot more than an hour, or 3 or more coughing episodes in 24 hours;
  • A loss or change to your sense of smell or taste – this means you’ve noticed you cannot smell or taste anything, or things smell or taste different to normal.

Most people with coronavirus have at least 1 of these symptoms. For further information click on this link (NHS Coronavirus Symptoms)

Do you think your child or someone in your family may have coronavirus? Book a test by clicking here. (Book a Coronavirus Test)

If you have symptoms, you should stay a home and not have visitors until you get your test result. Your child should NOT come to school, and you should call school to let them know on 01142396464.

If your child has taken a coronavirus test, and has tested positive, you should inform the school immediately and not take your child to school.

Should you like any further information about how we are keeping children safe in school during this time, please contact the school directly.
